Except Mondays, the Changing Ceremony of the Royal Guards is carried out daily in front of Deoksugung(Palace). The 20 minute long process includes the main gate opening and closing ceremonies, military parades, and marching ceremonies. When all the official ceremonies come to an end, actors in the guise of Royal Guards pose for photographs with spectators. At Gyeongbokgung(Palace), foreign tourists can even try on the colorful costumes of the Royal Guards and pose for photos.
